General Assessment For Enterprise System Information

Assessment Description

Assessment is the activity of identifying and analyzing all client information systems to produce a more convenient, locks-free, independent, and flexible information system in terms of development and use so that we can know what we should do and will have to for the future.

Our assessment is different from the Audit system because basically this activity does not have to comply with global standards or ethical rules, but is locks-free, independent, and flexible, which is important that the objectives of the assessment can be achieved.

There are 2 phases for system general assessment. It starts with Preliminary Assessment which consists of Document Assessment, Questionnaire response analysis, Interviews and perhaps Brainstorming, or Source Code brief inspection.

After Preliminary Assessment, we will compile a better understanding about the scope of work which needs to be assessed comprehensively. The completion of this assessment indicates issuance of Comprehensive Assessment Proposal. We are open to have a presentation and discussion about the proposal.

Comprehensive Assessment Proposal which contains:

  1. 1
    Objective and KPI
  2. 2
    General Approach
  3. 3
    Scope of Works
  4. 4
    Methodology
  5. 5
    Schedule and Timeline
  6. 6
    Resource Allocation
  7. 7
    Budget

After agreed, the comprehensive assessment will be conducted as planned, starts from Kick Off Meeting with some PIC related to the objectives, and rearrange and align some points, including the schedules, test approach, etc.

The completion of comprehensive assessment will be delivered in Comprehensive Assessment Report which will be presented and discussed. Every Assessment will have different objectives, while the strategy and reporting for every assessment will vary.

Our report will bring a clear understanding and vision about what system topology we have and what we should do and will have to for the future. The report is customized according to Management objectives, not what they want, but what they need to have.

The purpose of this assessment is to identify and analyze the entire Information System of Client with the aim of producing a more convenient, locks-free, independent and flexible information system in terms of its development and use.

The scope of this assessment process includes several phases, such as:

  1. 1
Understand the Information Technology Architecture System that is involved and used in the Operational System.
  2. 2
Get insight and business requirements from Client’s management and get related information to current operations, both the ease and difficulties that exist all this time.
  3. 3
Get insight from Top Management (and possibly brainstorming with management) regarding the visions and needs for the long term / the future.
